Discussions with American generals on the peace plan “continue today in Kiev, we are carefully studying all the proposals of our partners”, said Ukrainian Security Council secretary Umerov. Regarding the plan, according to a second draft released by Axios, the plan includes security guarantees modeled on NATO’s Article 5 that would commit the US and European allies to treat an attack on Ukraine as an attack on the entire “transatlantic community.” The plan does not cover NATO troops stationed in Ukraine.
