It would be a comeback with horror: When “Unholy” could be heard live again after ten years, the Count suddenly fell off the stage. The concert was stopped, but was able to continue.
The Count fell headfirst from the stage at the first concert of Unheil’s “Back Again” tour in Leipzig. The band had only played for a quarter of an hour to a packed Auensee house when the singer lost his balance and fell forward. The concert was then stopped for five minutes before the musician returned to the fans with the words: “Old Swede, hey.” “I’m very sorry for this surprise, but together we can do it.”
It’s been almost ten years since Unheil played their last concert – but now the Aachen band around the Count is back. It will be an emotional evening for musicians and audiences in Leipzig.
“I miss you”
“I missed you,” the Unholy singer called and covered her face with her hands. In 2016 the band played a farewell concert in Cologne. However, at the beginning of this year, Count surprisingly announced that the band would produce a new album.
The Unholy frontman is known only as “the Count” and has not revealed his real name or age. But what he told fans was the reason why he ever said goodbye – for good, actually. He wants to pay more attention to his family. That’s what he did, he said after the comeback was announced. But one day the desire arose to appear on stage again.
At the concert, the Count spoke about how important his mother was to him. He always fights like a lion, for example when he got into big trouble at school as a kid because he stuttered. Now his mother is getting older but still struggling. He dedicated the song “My Lion” to him.
Unholy fans celebrated the band on this comeback night. The Count is clearly recovering from his fall, but you don’t notice it when he sings. However, he then went to a clinic in Leipzig.
