New clues regarding the Emanuela Orlandi case will emerge from the work of a bicameral commission of inquiry into the disappearance of Mirella Gregori and Orlandi herself, chaired by Senator Andrea De Priamo.
“Our investigation – explained De Priamo to ANSA – has identified an unpublished element, also thanks to the valuable collaboration of the Carabinieri ROS: we found notes from Emanuela that refer to a kind of theatre-cinema, a ‘gathering of attractions’ located on Via Cassia, a few meters from the house of the late B-movie director Bruno Mattei. Emanuela wrote about this place and about the theatrical performances performed there more than a month before to simply disappear into thin air.” “The relevance of this element – added the chairman of the Commission – is still under examination and aspects remain confidential but this circumstance is certainly very striking considering that Bruno Mattei had contacts with several students at the music school where Emanuela attended and the fact that for many years the girl’s writings were never highlighted”. Regarding the name of Bruno Mattei, during the work of the Commission, this came up in the hearing last July 1 against Alfonso Montesanti, who at the time of Emanuela’s disappearance was the husband of Patrizia De Lellis, daughter of the couple Franco De Lellis and Giuliana De Ioannon, respectively factotum and employee at the secretariat of the director of the music school Ludovico da Victoria, attended by Emanuela, and the lover of the music. director Bruno Mattei.
However, what surprised the Commission president most was the discovery of Emanuela’s notes that could explain what Emanuela frequented and the environment that attracted the attention of the ‘Vatican’ girl. While reviewing the works, De Priamo assured that “we worked hard on all leads, without exception. The recent hearings conducted by two journalists actually provided very interesting insights into the so-called international channels that we do not ignore.” Finally, regarding the current developments in the news regarding the case of the excavations at Casa del Jazz in search of elements of the disappearance of judge Adinolfi and his possible connection with the Banda della Magliana, he stated: “We are examining the thread thoroughly and there are definitely some interesting elements, especially taking into account the two episodes in which Emanuela was followed and the related testimonies of S.Anna’s group friends”, “we are working on it with careful attention, after which ‘fictional’ interpretations have been excluded from our work”.
