Commuters beware: disruptions are slowing down two subway lines. What is known about the reasons and which lines passengers should give more time to.
If you’re taking the subway in Nuremberg on Thursday morning (November 20), you’ll need to allow more time. Subway lines 2 and 3 are not running as planned. The train also stopped at certain subway stations in the morning, as observed by a t-online reporter.
The reason was the activation of “security devices” in the Maxfeld area, as passengers were notified via announcements over loudspeakers. The same information is also given as the reason online on the Verkehrs-Aktiengesellschaft (VAG) error sticker; no further information can be found there.
VAG expects delays on the U2 and U3 until around 09:45, along the route.
