Power of Naples Fabrizio Finamore has been set for April 1, 2026 preliminary hearing in the trial for the collapse that occurred that night July 22, 2024 at Vela Celeste Scampiawhere three galleries collapsed leaving three people dead and eleven others injured, including seven minors.
An investigation conducted by the Naples Prosecutor’s Office shows six officials of the Municipality of Naples are being investigated for various allegations of disasters, several murders and failure to maintain maintenance.
From the investigation coordinated by prosecutor Manuela Persico, it was revealed, among other things, that Vela Celeste should have been evicted in 2015, in accordance with the evacuation order dated October 12, but it remained a dead letter.
