During the Christmas song “White Christmas”, Vicky said proudly: “My father had a beautiful voice. Now my father is no longer alive. We often sang this song together. He sang the first voice, I the second, my mother the third.” Vicky looked down and stopped. For a few seconds he was overwhelmed by happy memories and had to hold back tears. So many emotions, so many feelings!
Vicky captivated the charity guests with “Feliz Navidad” and “Hallelujah” among others.
Vicky was moved: “He is a very good father”
Vicky to BILD: “It was a very beautiful concert, very emotional. My father wrote all my big successes around the world, like ‘Après toi’, ‘I love life’ or ‘I am what I am’. We can work well together. And he is a very good father.”
In 1961 his parents divorced, Vicky lived with his father at his own request and he also became his manager. Leandros: “My mother moved to New York when I was little. I was alone here with my father Hamburg.”

Vicky: “We went to the cemetery. His family was there. That was very important to me. Now we will all spend Christmas together at Gut Basthorst.”
Then Christiane Gräfin zu Rantzau (formerly the aristocratic auction house Christie’s) auctioned off a magnificently decorated Christmas tree among others Otto Waalkes, Udo Lindenberg (79) and HP Baxxter (61). Enno von Ruffin: “Around 70,000 euros were raised.” Most went to “Hearts for Children.”

Vicky said proudly: “I want to thank all the supporters. This is an issue close to my heart. We have been doing this for about 20 years.” Since then, more than one million euros have been raised for the charity BILD.
