Milan, November 24 (askanews) – Preview of the video “Pasta e Mandolino” taken from “Latin Blanco”, Mr Dailom’s latest album, and its bonus track. A song born from the collaboration with Max Calò and different from the production curated by Eggwyte: in fact, it marks a bridge between Dailom’s new artistic turn, linked to the Latin sound, and previous albums closer to the rap/trap context.
“Pasta e mandolin” closes the “Latin Blanco” project, with references and quotations of Dailom’s artistic past, but at the same time revealing possible new trajectories for future work. The theme is a proud expression of one’s Italianness, referring to the situation of our country, with sharp rhymes that remind us how Dailom not only pursues lightness, but also pays attention to serious themes. The homage to Toto Cutugno (“The Italian”) becomes especially effective in a context that wants to celebrate and remember the value of Italian culture, from an artistic point of view, but also for all sectors of production such as fashion, food, style and trends, always elegant and refined. An exhortation not to forget the greatness, even the human greatness, of our nation contrasted with what appears to be a moment of economic and social decadence. The video clip by Matteo Sambero wants to translate this message into images, with power, choosing a symbolic location for artistic value, the Palazzo Facchi in Brescia. Not only that, a real artist takes part in the video, Maestro Gino Rodella (painter, designer, stylist, archi-stylist) the epitome of Italian excellence, in the guise of a luxury stylist who step by step creates the elegant dress with which Dailom will present himself to his audience. Among the participants, we also remember Leandra Pavorè, who embodies Italian culinary traditions and, at the same time, ironically recalls the stereotype of the Italian “mama’s boy”, and finally Shehata Kirolos Malak Adly (playing the bodyguard).
