Violinist Alessandro Quarta makes “I 5 ELEMENTI” – Il Tempo vibrate

Milan, November 20 (askanews) – Knowing how to make violin strings vibrate in a unique way, Alessandro Quarta has published “I 5 ELEMENTI”, a remastering of his famous album. Defined by CNN as a musical genius and awarded at Montecitorio as Italy’s preeminent in the world of music, Quarta highlights the positive forces and destructive forces inherent in the 5 elements and ultimately nature itself. “If we are honest, nature is the mother of music, because the musician, in this case me, I am the violin, or more precisely, I am the tree. The first composer who inspired all composers and therefore let us always remember that the violin is always a living tree.”

The album, which is entirely instrumental, features solo violin dialogue with the I Solisti Filarmonici Italiani Orchestra and piano playing by Giuseppe Magagnino, creating a sound structure rich in nuance and evocative depth. “As far as I’m concerned, I hate words in music, apart from opera and some songs, otherwise words annoy me. I grew up with instrumental music since I was a child so now I believe in the objective and emotional meaning of instrumental music. If I have to make people feel and see images without words and with music, instrumental music reaches places that words can’t reach. After all, the opera The 5 Elements talks about the two emotions that shape us, joy and sorrow. All of us, we experience these two emotions which are caused by reasons that different, clear in every day. When the instrumental music comes, the words don’t come through. I have to look at the music and every song is a soundtrack of something I feel but also you feel or feel.
