“We are shocked by what happened”reacts Thursday 13 November on franceinfo Benoît Payan, mayor of Marseille, after the murder of a 20-year-old youth. The victim was the younger brother of Amine Kessaci, a 22-year-old environmental activist from Marseille known locally for his struggle with loved ones who had fallen victim to drug bandits. “This is a tragedy, an upheaval”Benoît Payan’s testimony. “I know the victim’s older brother who campaigned against drug trafficking, against the gangrene that kills, which is destroying the young generation of Marseille and causing harm”added the mayor.
The victim is 20 years old and “is taking the exam to become a peacekeeper. He wants to join the police” convince the chosen one. “If it turns out that this murder was a warning murder, then we will move into a new dimension into something we have never experienced.”The Mayor of Marseille warned.
