“We need to rehabilitate the Moulin Rouge”: Paris cabaret defends its project despite controversy

To facilitate the rehabilitation of the historic space of the Moulin Rouge (18th century), the cabaret management did not renew the leases of three historic tenants, including the apartment previously occupied by Jacques Prévert and Boris Vian. Jean-Victor Clerico, general director of the cabaret, defended the “large-scale cultural heritage project” and assured that dialogue remains open with rights holders.
