Take off your winter coat. After a week marked by very cool temperatures in November, the mercury will drop drastically in France with the arrival of cold air of arctic origin, then with the descent of a depression from the North Sea full of humid sea air that will bring rain and even snow to low altitudes, underlines La Chaîne Météo.
Monday: calm and cool weather
Even though it is not yet significant, a slight drop in temperature will be felt this afternoon Monday. The weather will be mostly dry and sunny across the country in the morning, except the central-eastern region, and will be the same in the afternoon.
In the morning, temperatures will range between 6 and 10°C in the north, then between 9 and 15°C in the south. The mercury will have difficulty rising throughout the day with temperatures generally around 1 to 2°C higher than the temperature in the morning.
Tuesday: temperatures drop again
The weather is expected to return to calm across most of the country with sunny days across the region.

On the other hand, the arrival of cold weather will be felt with the return of frost to most of the country at dawn, especially mistral and tramontane which will blow hard from the morning. In the afternoon, temperatures generally range between 6 and 10°C throughout the country, except on the Côte d’Azur where temperatures are higher.
Wednesday: the arrival of disturbances
Disturbances coming through the English Channel during the night will cross almost the entire country, starting in the morning. Disruptions will remain in France throughout the day, except in the southeast where they will not occur.

The general temperature will be the same as the previous day, but humid weather will make the air feel cooler.
Thursday: cooler and wetter weather
The weather will once again be very humid across most of the country and the arctic cold will cause temperatures to drop further.

According to Météo France, Thursday will be marked by the first snowflakes on the plains in the north and east of the country. Temperatures are generally between 2 and 7°C, except on the Mediterranean coast where the temperature is around 10°C.
Friday: temperatures get colder
In the absence of higher temperatures than the previous day, calmer and clearer weather will reach the region. Border towns in the Pyrenees and much of the southeast still have to deal with disruptions, unlike western and northern regions.

Temperatures will return to low levels in the morning and frost will occur in many parts of the country as the sun rises. In the afternoon, temperatures will again hardly exceed 7°C except in the southeastern region.
Weekend: Rain and frost
If weather forecasts are unreliable a week in advance, next weekend will be cold and wet again, according to Météo France forecasts. The sun will be hot except for Saturday in the eastern part of the country.

Further frosts are expected in the morning, especially in central and eastern parts of the region. A slight increase in temperatures is expected in the south during the day on Sunday.
