Frozen and slippery roads are still expected in Thuringia. According to the German Weather Service (DWD), there could be permanent light frost throughout the day, especially in mountainous areas. Snowfall with one to three centimeters of fresh snow is also possible in the east and south of the country as well as in the mountains. Temperatures between 1 and 4 degrees, in the mountains between minus 2 and 1 degrees.

Most areas will remain dry Thursday evening, although fog may develop in some places. Temperatures drop to 0 to minus 5 degrees, but slippery conditions are still possible. On Thursday, skies will be mostly cloudy, but will remain mostly dry. Daily highs are between 1 and 4 degrees, in the mountains between minus 3 and 0 degrees.
