Based on the weather forecast, the Civil Protection department has issued a new weather warning. Weather phenomena, which impact different regions of the country, can lead to hydrogeological and hydraulic criticalities.
The warning predicts rainfall in the form of thunderstorms in Tuscany and Emilia-Romagna from the early hours of today, Monday 24 November. Bad weather will also extend throughout the day to Lazio, Umbria, Abruzzo, Molise and Campania.
Rainfall will also be heavy accompanied by thunder and lightning and strong gusts of wind. Stormy winds from the southwest will hit Emilia-Romagna in the morning, and Lazio, Abruzzo, Molise, Campania, Puglia and Sicily in the afternoon, with storm surge along the coast.
Snowfall is expected above 1000-1200 meters in the Aosta Valley. THAT’yellow warning planned for parts of Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Emilia-Romagna, for the entire regions of Tuscany, Umbria, Lazio, Molise and Campania, and for some regions in Abruzzo, Puglia, Basilicata, Calabria and Sardinia.
