Rome, November 19 – (Adnkronos) – “We pay great attention to ESG issues, we have also done so in terms of technological innovation, we have done so by placing technological innovation at the center in the effort to bring benefits to the environment, to create conditions for less consumption. In March 2024 we launched a free route at an altitude of 6,500 meters above sea level which guarantees greater efficiency of passage in the air, fuel and Co2 savings. From December 31 of this year, the companies have saved, in 2025 alone, around 90 million kilograms of CO2”. This was underlined by Pasqualino Monti, CEO of Enav Group, who spoke today at the Foreign Press Association in Rome on the 2025 ESG Day of Enav SpA, the company that manages civil air traffic in Italy. This event dedicated to the role of sustainability and ESG principles in the financial and business sectors brought together representatives of institutions and the financial world, investors, sustainability experts and stakeholders from the ENAV Group, who discussed the evolution of the European regulatory framework and new challenges for companies and markets.
“We tell the market how in 2024 the company has achieved extraordinary results from all points of view – continued Monti – The group’s balance sheet has improved, operational performance has improved, the ability to sell worldwide. This has always been done by always putting our people at the center, the people who operate and work within the company and who have certainly contributed to the achievement of these results”.
“We then have plans to employ 400 resources over the next five years. This is a signal because technology and artificial intelligence are important factors that help humans work better, but can never replace them,” he concluded.
