An 81-year-old woman was found dead in her home on via Pezza di Mesenzana, in the province of Varese, with multiple stab wounds this afternoon. When the 118 personnel arrived at the location, there was nothing more they could do about the old woman. The concerns were raised by neighbors who saw her husband screaming in front of the house, who was stopped by Luino company carabinieri. He was the one who would attack his wife, killing her before leaving the house screaming. The man was escorted to a barracks which is under the supervision of judicial authorities. The area has been isolated and investigators are conducting all necessary investigations. On the same street, Andrea Rossin, in March 2023, stabbed to death her two children Giada and Alessio, aged 13 and 7, before committing suicide.
