“We need to train more engineers in France! » This order often appears in the media. Politicians, entrepreneurs, think tanks, reiterate the need to train those who will have to carry out the energy, ecological and digital transition, as well as the reindustrialization of the country. By 2024, 50,000 people will graduate from French engineering schools. A record. However, in the same year, 15% of them were still looking for their first job a few months after graduating – compared to 8.8% the previous year.
